Newborn session at home in Barcelona: a real experience

A baby, a home, a beginning
When I arrived, everything was quiet.
That kind of silence that only exists in the first days.
Their baby was just a few days old.
Sleeping peacefully.
And they… were still taking it all in.
No posing, no pressure
There were no instructions.
No “stand like this”.
Just space.
To hold their baby.
To look.
To be.
And that’s where everything happens.
The beauty of real moments
A hand resting.
A look that lingers.
A gesture that won’t repeat.
That’s what I look for.
Not perfect scenes.

My role is not to lead.
It’s to observe.
To be present without interrupting.
